FAQ
Questions about Ludo Cities
Is Ludo Cities free?
Yes. Ludo Cities is free to download and play. Games against bots, pass-and-play and joining a friend's room are free. Hosting a private room and quick match online come with the Cities Pass, a subscription you can cancel at any time.
Can iPhone and Android players play together?
Yes. Players on iPhone and Android share the same rooms and the same quick-match queue, so you can play with anyone whatever phone they have.
Can I play Ludo offline?
Yes. Play against bots at three levels (Rookie, Marksman and Hawkeye), or pass one phone around with up to four players. Neither needs a connection.
How many people can play?
Two to four. In a 1v1 game each player controls two colours. Four players can play every one for themselves or as two teams of two.
Does a kick give another roll?
No. In Ludo Cities only a double six rolls again. Other doubles, kicks and getting a piece home do not.
What happens to my piece after it kicks a rival?
In the points race your piece goes straight home and scores 50 on top of the 20 for the kick. In Classic it stays on the square where it landed.
Are the dice fair?
Online, only the server rolls. Before a match it commits to a secret and shows its fingerprint. When the match ends the secret is revealed and the fairness page recomputes every roll, so anyone can check nothing was changed.
How do I invite friends?
Create a private room and share its six-character code or link. Friends who open the link join your room; joining is free.
Can I win money?
No. There are no cash stakes or prizes in Ludo Cities, ever.
